New York City Carry Permit

The goal of this course is to provide you with the training, documentation and shooting qualification necessary to apply for your New York City & New York State Carry Permit.

Cost:                                                      $250.00

Duration: 18 Hours (two-day class)

Description:     This course provides you with all of the necessary training, documentation and qualification for the New York City / New York State Carry Permit.

Course Includes:                             

• Classroom Instruction

  • Firearm Safety

  • State/Federal Laws

  • Firearm Storage

  • Concealed Carry Instruction

  • Use of Force

  • Written Examination

• Processing all Necessary Documentation

• Shooting Qualification

  • 5 Rounds at 5 Yards - Must be 80% accurate

  • Target Size is 11x17

• Certificate of Handgun Training

NOTE: The New York Police Department will contact all applicants for fingerprinting & interviewing.   

Registration must be completed and payment made in full for all courses.  Course fees are non-refundable*. 

*Courses are subject to cancellation based on enrollment/range issues.  In the event of cancellation, refunds will be issued.
