New Jersey Permit To Carry (PTC) Requalification

The goal of this course is to requalify those individuals who already have a current or expired New Jersey Permit to Carry a Handgun.

Duration: 1 Hour

Description:     The New Jersey Permit To Carry (PTC) Requalification course is an instructor-led and live-fire shooting qualification course intended to equip you with the training and documentation necessary to renew your New Jersey Concealed Carry Permit.

This course includes the requalification shooting portion only.

Shooting Qualification: The shooting qualification follows the NJ CCARE Protocol. We will be using FBI “Q” Targets, shooting 10 rounds at the following distances: 15, 10, 7, 5 and 3 yards. All strings of fire will be shot by drawing from the holster.

Registration must be completed and payment made in full for all courses.  Course fees are non-refundable*. 

*Courses are subject to cancellation based on enrollment/range issues.  In the event of cancellation, refunds will be issued.

Required Equipment:                   

• Ear protection (electronic recommended)

• Eye protection

• Holster (OWB is okay, IWB is recommended)  

• Pistol or revolver.

  • MUST be legal in New Jersey

• At least two magazines for semi-automatic pistols or at least two speed loaders for revolvers.

  • MUST be legal in New Jersey – 10 round capacity.

• 50 rounds of quality ammunition, please bring your own.

  • No reloads or handloads allowed.
